I want a copy of the ENWICC Car Council Book but can’t make it to the Swap Meet. How can I get a copy? Each person is allowed to pick up one copy of the directory at the Spring Swap Meet. This is on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. Copies of the Car Council Directory can be requested by sending $3.00 per book to cover postage and handling, along with a return postal address, to: ENWICC Directory, P.O. Box 106, Blair, NE 68008. The Car Council Directory is also made available to Council-member clubs at the March meeting. Please contact your Club representative to request a copy. In addition, books are available at participating area businesses who advertise in the Directory and at a limited number of car shows and swap meets in the month following the Rocky Manginelli Memorial Swap Meet. Admission is free to the public. Parking is $5.00 per vehicle. =============================== About 320 heated 10 x 10 Indoor spaces are available for reservation Indoor reserved setup is Saturday, March 3rd, from 1-6 P.M. Over 480 Indoor (heated to 40 degrees) and Outdoor 12 x 25 spaces are available with setup starting at 3 A.M. Sunday, March 4th. Four Buildings with food concessions and restrooms are on the grounds. Q: Who do I contact for information about the swap meet? A: Contact Frank Wimmer at frankwimmer63@yahoo.com or at 402-450-8490. Q: When is the swap meet? A: The swap meet is held the Sunday of the first full weekend in March. It opens to the public at 7am. For 2018 it will be held on March 4th. Q: What is the admission charge? A: Admission is free to the public. There is a $5.00 per vehicle fee to park on the grounds. Q: Are vendors required to remit sales tax? A: All vendors must hold a Nebraska state sales tax permit and remit the appropriate tax on all sales to the State of Nebraska Department of Revenue. A special one day permit is available. A: The Lancaster Event Center, 84th and Havelock Avenue, Lincoln Nebraska. Q: How do I get there? A: From Interstate 80 Exit 405 go South on US 77 to US 6. Turn right on US 6 then stay left. Turn left on Havelock Avenue. Continue East on Havelock Avenue to 84th Street. Continue across 84th Street to the entrances to the Lancaster Event Center. From Interstate 80 Exit 409 go West on US 6 to 84th Street. Turn left on 84th Street. Continue South on 84th Street to Havelock Avenue. Turn left on Havelock Avenue to the entrances to the Lancaster Event Center. An alternative route that follows gravel roads and approaches the Lancaster Event Center from the East is from Interstate 80 Exit 409 go West on US 6 to 98th Street. Turn left onto 98th Street. Continue South approximately 1.7 miles to Havelock Avenue. Turn right onto Havelock Avenue. Continue West to entrances to the Lancaster Event Center. If you are a vendor please use the West Havelock Avenue entrance. If you are a buyer please use the Havelock Avenue East Entrance. If you are traveling North on 84th Street after 7am you may use the 84th Street. Q: What if the weather is bad? Will the meet still be held? A: Yes - the Swap Meet will be held regardless of the weather, as there are no alternate dates available to us. There are over 700 covered/heated indoor spaces available for vending, along with lots of hard-surface parking for buyers. Historically the event has never been cancelled due to bad weather. |
