I want a copy of the ENWICC Car Council Book but can’t make it to the Swap Meet. How can I get a copy? Each person is allowed to pick up one copy of the directory at the Spring Swap Meet. This is on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. Copies of the Car Council Directory can be requested by sending $3.00 per book to cover postage and handling, along with a return postal address, to: ENWICC Directory, P.O. Box 106, Blair, NE 68008. The Car Council Directory is also made available to Council-member clubs at the March meeting. Please contact your Club representative to request a copy. In addition, books are available at participating area businesses who advertise in the Directory and at a limited number of car shows and swap meets in the month following the Rocky Manginelli Memorial Swap Meet. A: The swap meet is held the Sunday of the first full weekend in March. It opens to the public at 7am. For 2020 it will be held on March 8th. Q: What is the admission charge? A: Admission is free to the public. There is a $5.00 per vehicle fee to park on the grounds. Q: Are vendors required to remit sales tax? A: All vendors must hold a Nebraska state sales tax permit and remit the appropriate tax on all sales to the State of Nebraska Department of Revenue. A special one day permit is available. Q: What if the weather is bad? Will the meet still be held? A: Yes - the Swap Meet will be held regardless of the weather, as there are no alternate dates available to us. There are over 700 covered/heated indoor spaces available for vending, along with lots of hard-surface parking for buyers. Historically the event has never been cancelled due to bad weather. |
